...for a while. I've figured it out. By December, when I graduate from college, I will have been in class continuously for a year and a half, with a short 3 week break. I'm taking summer classes. The only break I have is in August from the 5th to the 20-something-th. Corey is taking a short vacay from work. We're going camping for a few days and then we're going to spend 2-3 days in bed, doing NOTHING. Watching tv. Sounds heavenly. I am tired of school. Although, I am adoring my Pop Culture class. I'm taking TV as Popular Culture and I get to write a 10-page research paper on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So that's good. I came home and told my hubby about it, told him it gave me a great excuse to buy more Buffy books. Thought he was going to lose it. He's like, "you already have all the books!" I laughed and told him there were a TON of books on Buffy. I have to go to the Pop Culture library for more in-depth research too.
I'm getting tired finally.
So, we got the Dish Network now, which is so fun. Over 120 channels, including like 20 movie channels that we get for free for the first 3 months. :) The other day I was flipping through the channels and I complained to my hubby that there was nothing on. I thought he was going to hit me. :) His face turned an interesting color. I think it's because I bitched and complained about getting Dish Network until I wore him down. :) The movie channels are dumb though. The same movie is on all the time. They find one they like and show it on every channel. Lately, it's been "Along Came Polly", "Anchorman" and "League of their Own". Oh, and "That Thing You Do". All movies I like, but sheesh. See it once, good. Twice, ok. 10 times? No no no.
My bf is getting so big. :) I saw her today and she's happy. She says that the baby is moving, but everytime she moves and Gretchen has someone put their hand on her tummy to feel it, the baby stops moving! Typical. :) She's naming her Adrianna. At least she didn't steal my name. Corey and I have decided that if we have a girl, we'll name her Sydney and a boy will be Alexander. I have no idea for a middle name for my girl, though. Anyone? What goes well with Sydney? I liked Sydney Marie, but Corey doesn't. I want it to sound musical.
And no, I'm not pregnant yet! But we will be trying at the end of the year. Starting to try anyway. I've informed Corey that I will NOT be pregnant over the summer unless we are in a house with central air and at LEAST 2 bathrooms. :) I know about pregnancy and I know that when you gotta go, you gotta go NOW. My mother in law is thinking (seriously) about moving to Arizona, to be closer to her sister and her grandsons (my nephews-in-law!) but she doesn't want to live out there all year, so she'll have a place there and here, spend summers here and winters there. She's nutty. :) She's trying to get us to buy her house. Corey is not thrilled with the idea, but we'll be putting our house up come fall, and I don't want to get stuck in an apartment if we don't find our next house right away. So it'd be a good idea, if we could do a land contract type thing on her house. Because we cannot afford it outright, her house was appraised at well over 170. But it's a gorgeous house, 3 bed, 2 full bath. :)
Our realtor says that all we have to do is add a closet to our family room and call it a bedroom. We can add 10,000 to the price for that! So we'll update our electrical, fix up our roof, add that closet and we can ask almost 30 grand more than what we paid. Nice...
We looked at a house on 10 acres. The house was crap though. And the land was wild. Too much work. We also looked at an awesome house on 2 acres. Unfortunately, it happened to be practically on top of a motorcyle gang's club place. VERY loud. Yick. We're hoping to look at a 5 acre wooded lot in Whitehouse. We're talking about possibly buying it with my mother in law, and both building on it. She's only going to be there 6 months out of the year and we'd put up a privacy fence. But again, Corey and I are not sure we want to build. I think we'd rather have history in our house. :)
My god, I talk a lot. :) Harry Potter comes out tomorrow!! Yey! And Corey is taking me to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" next week. :) Right now, we're on an Alias kick. I'm in love with Jennifer Garner. Seriously, that woman is FINE. :)
I'm shutting up now! Bedtime.
